How we’ll work together.

Ongoing monthly work

Ongoing work runs on a points-based monthly retainer. Each month comes with a set point allocation, spent on the deliverables that matter most that month. A menu of deliverables and their point values makes it clear what everything's worth. Need more or less in a given month? Just request the change for the following month.

Project based work

Larger projects are scoped separately from the monthly retainer and assigned a flat fee. These typically include things like a new brand identity or a full website build.

Your team

One senior creative director leads every engagement and stays the single point of contact throughout, not an account or project manager relaying instructions to someone else. Behind that direction sits a flexible bench of specialists, brought in based on what each project actually requires.

Getting started

Every engagement starts with a conversation about what's needed now and what's on the horizon. From there, scope and retainer terms are put in place. Each client receives an Executive Dashboard housing all active requests and projects, with current status and timeline. The first month opens with a kickoff meeting to align the senior creative director with your brand's values, voice, and look.

We exist between a freelancer and an agency.

Our Team vs Freelancers and Agencies

Freelancers offer flexibility but rarely bring senior-level creative direction, and coordinating multiple freelancers becomes its own job. Agencies bring full teams and infrastructure, along with layers of account management, longer timelines, and overhead built into every invoice. Witness occupies the space between, with an experienced senior creative director directing a team of specialists sized to the work and need.

Our Cost vs. In-house

Building an in-house creative team means salaries, benefits, software, and equipment before a single project starts. Bringing in senior creative leadership plus staff pushes that well over six figures annually, even for a small team. Witness gives you the benefits of an in-house creative department, senior leadership, partnership, and accessibility, without the fixed overhead of full-time hires.

Our Flexibility vs. Agencies and Freelancers

Agency structures often mean revision cycles, layers of internal approval, and contract minimums that slow work down before it starts. Freelancers often require handholding, extra rounds of revisions, and your own time to manage them. A senior creative director, backed by a bench of specialists, moves faster, with fewer layers between the brief and the work, and less demand on your time.
